How it began

What if it were
your kid?

DJ Bracken asked himself that in 2024, when he learned that Utah students owed millions in school lunch debt. He thought about his daughter, then started paying off balances, one school at a time.

That first step grew into the Utah foundation. Now, with chapters in Idaho and Rhode Island, we’re working to end school lunch debt across the country, because every kid is somebody’s kid.
